Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education (SITE)

I will be attending my third SITE conference this next week in beautiful San Diego, CA. This is a place specifically designed for academics involved in Instructional Technology have the opportunity to collaborate their ideas. It will be hosted at the San Diego Sheraton Hotel & Marina in San Diego.

This hotel is located right on the marina, minutes away from the airport, San Diego Zoo, and Seaworld.

I will be presenting a paper with my advisor at George Washington University, Dr. Natalie Milman called "A Literature Review on Podcasts and Implications for Teacher Education" on Wednesday, March 31st at 2:45.

Techne World

So, I started this blog awhile back but didn't have much gumption or ambition to write anything. I am still lacking in motivation to write, but there are times when I wish i could write in my journal while at work, this can fix that problem. In order for me to feel justified writing in a blog at work, I have decided to make it related to my field.

At the end of June, I am attending the ISTE (International Society for Technology Education) conference here in Washington, DC. Like with all conferences I attend, I am volunteering to steer clear of the lofty registration fee. I will post info I learn about this conference in my next post.

Here is one the organizations where I regularly receive emails. They are called SALT (Society for Applied Learning Technology). To be honest, I have not read their articles very often. However, I will do better, so that I can bring anything valuable to this site.

Introduction to Ed. Media News

Hi, I am an instructional designer for a community college. Since I work in higher education, I am consistently learning about new research studies in the area of Instructional Technology.

For this reason, I have decided to store it on this blog. Here, I will post a new and interesting piece of news each week that may help others who are seeking this information.
